My Trip to Spain
Marbella’s Golden Mile, an area situated in Southern Spain, is a place that attracts those starved for luxury probably more than any other destination in the country. It is the place to visit or relocate to for all those who would like to spend some time surrounded by the splendour and richness of some of the finest estates and villas in the whole country. For a very long time now, it has been one of the favoured getaways of the famous and rich, and it is easy to see why. With its endless supply of restaurants, luxury hotels and numerous fashionable shops, the area has a lot to offer to everybody.
Marbella’s Golden Mile starts at the western part of the town of Marbella and stretches to a place that the locals know as Puerto Banus. It is artificially divided into two parts by a spacious motorway running through it. Many five-star hotels, a golf course, numerous business centres and many other facilities are located along the motorway making it a desirable destination, both for tourists as well as business executives.
The beach located close to the motorway is fully developed. It offers spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. On the other hand, the side of Marbella’s Golden Mile facing the mountains is still undergoing development.
Apart from five-star hotels, the area is famous for its luxury villas that each year attract tourists from all over the world. With many of such estates currently available for sale, it should be relatively easy for somebody to find a suitable home.
