When buying a new car, you will often find yourself in a dilemma. Do you choose a sports car or SUV? Do you choose a car that produces high acceleration or car with engine with slow reaction? Whether you opt for car manufacturer whose models you have been driving previously or something entirely else? Let’s say you’re willing to spend between 35000 and 40000 dollars, which car would you buy for that money? Would you rather buy a SUV vehicle Acura RDX or a hybrid sports car Mitsubishi Lancer EVO XI? At first glance, the two very different cars, but the choice will says a lot about your character. Both vehicles have many advantages. For instance, the Acura RDX is a great car for the family man. There are two rows of seating, comfortable seats, which have in the option heated seats, excellent navigation and audio system with 7 speakers. The engine is powerful and provides the opportunity for a comfortable ride on long distances, when you go on holiday, for example. On the other hand, Mitsubishi EVO XI suits people who like driving fast. Another group of people who will be delighted by this hybrid vehicle are fans of environmental protection, because each hybrid reduces emissions. EVO 11 even has two electric motors together with a conventional petrol engine provides twice the power than the engine of Acura RDX. CO2 emissions are below 50 g / km, and that fact makes EVO 11 perfect for city driving. What also impresses in this model is a phenomenal aerodynamic layout, which provides low resistance to air and lures drivers that raced faster. Both models have daytime running lights made in LED technology, which is a trend the last few years.

Selection of cars is, of course up to you. But, if you are ready to spend nearly $ 40,000, you are entitled to superior driving experience and superior safety. We believe, however, that the EVO XI is more suited to younger men 20 – 30 years old, while the Acura RDX is more suited to people of 35-45 years of age.

I used to know a guy in the past who was very into music and playing various musical instruments. I am not exactly sure how many musical instruments he knew how to play, but something tells me that something such as any musical accessory from musician friend would be useful to him in many situations, especially when he plays instruments such as the guitar for example, which he used to play a lot by the way.

As it’s essentially a solid semiconductor emitting light, it’s more resistant to damage and failure. If you drop cold water on a hot incandescent bulb, there is a strong possibility it will shatter. Using LEDs reduces situations whereas the bulb is damaged from moisture. The LED is also more resistant to vibrations as well as direct impacts. While the smallest rock penetrating the headlight cover may cause the incandescent bulb to break, an LED has a far greater chance of sustaining the blow. This isn’t saying that LEDs are indestructible, but they can resist greater amounts of force from foreign elements.

Safety is always a concern when developing automobiles. The lighting can play a role in offering an exotic look while remaining functional for providing that safety. Although LED bulbs can be more expensive upfront when compared to incandescent units, the money saved over time makes the purchase cost efficient. It’s an attractive, more luminous and long lasting alternative to fragile and extremely sensitive standardized bulbs.

The Austrian bike maker, KTM AG is known for the powerful, speedy sports bikes it makes and sells all over the world, including India. KTM stands for Kronreif & Trunkenpolz Mattighofen. A company with a legacy of more than 80 years of existence, the KTM AG is a well-respected name in the motorcycle markets across the globe. Though they are engaged in diversified business interests, it is the motorcycle brand, which caught the fancy of people. KTM is synonymous with the sports motorcycles. Befittingly, the motorcycle business continues to be the flagship business of the KTM group. KTM is well known for the off road motorcycles it produces, even though it has expanded its business into the field of street motorcycle production as well as developing a sports car, in recent times.

In 2007, the Indian automobile company, Bajaj Auto Limited acquired some stake in the KTM AG. Currently, the Indian company holds 47% of the stake in the company. Hence, the KTM bikes in India are often introduced by Bajaj Auto Limited.

Though there are many models of KTM available across the world, in India, only four models are available. Two of them were launched quite recently. Here is a look at these popular bikes from the KTM Stable.

KTM Duke 200 – Duke 200 is the most popular bike of KTM in India. This 200 cc sports bike is a rage among the youngsters and many of them could be seen zipping past us on a Duke. The price of this bike starts from INR 138055/- (ex-showroom). Duke 200 is loaded with attractive features including alloy wheels, tubeless tire, wide tires, good suspension, big tank fuel and disc brakes and so on. This model is available in three attractive colours – White, Orange, and Black.

KTM Duke 390 ABS – KTM Duke 390 comes at an Ex-Showroom price starting at INR 180934/- It is a 373 cc bike, which is quite powerful and faster than the Duke 200. Some of the features that add to the utility of the bike include turn indicators, engine temperature gauge, gear indicator, clock, average riding time, shift RPM indicator, average riding speed, average fuel consumption, distance to dot and the distance to next and so on.

Apart from these two models, KTM introduced another set of bikes – RC 200 and RC 390 – quite recently. It is too early to make a call on these bikes in detail, but it is sure that they will appeal to the bike lovers across the nation.

It is very clear that when it comes to sports bikes, there are very few bikes, which are more popular than the KTM bikes.

I don’t know about you, but water, especially its cold version, is one of my favorite drinks especially in hot weather when it is so refreshing to be able to get a glass of this wonderful beverage. But since I like water so much, why would I want to keep it out? I have a simple answer to this question and I would like to share it with you in this post that i am about to write soon.

Sometimes, water is not welcome in our homes especially if it gets where it shouldn’t be like in our basements or many other places where we might not want to see it ever. I don’t know about you, but the idea of a damp basement is not something I would like to see in my home. I like to have my home as dry as possible, and I usually accomplish this goal with lots of heating in my property as I like to have it really warm in the place where I live.

One way to keep water out is to do it with the help of something called bitumen modification. I am not sure you are familiar with the term, but if not, I would like to be able to shed some light on it so that you know what I am talking about here and so that you know what it is that I am thinking about.

It turns out that modified bitumen is an effective way to keep water out and has been used in the construction industry for many years. It is manufactured by different companies that see how beneficial this type of substance is in various industries and that keeping water out is their top priority.

Aside from bitumen modification, there are some other ways to keep water out with the help of other modifications such as crystalline waterproofing system or flexible membrane waterproofing. Both of those methods are used widely in all types of industries depending on the situation and depending on the requirements of a specific industry. It all boils down to what the needs of a particular industry are.

When it comes to crystalline waterproofing, insoluble crystals are used here to prevent water from entering the areas where we don’t want it to be. Swimming pools, water tanks, bathroom sinks are the most likely to be affected here by this particular method.

On the other hand, we also have a method called flexible membrane waterproofing. This method is different from the first one described in this post. In a nutshell, a liquid and powder component mixed roughly in the ratio of 1:4 help prevent water from entering undesirable areas.

As you can see, there are quite a few ways to make sure that you can keep water where you want it to be and have total control over it. You will never have to worry about discovering water in all sorts of unexpected places if you are careful enough and if you know what you are doing.
